SeasonBlowout

Saturday 20 August 2011

What better way to end a season of great racing than with a party?! We've teamed up with series sponsor Dales Bike Centre to bring you a night of fun and festivities in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Following Round 4 at Fremington, we're giving you the opportunity to retreat to the Dales Bike Centre – just a short distance from the main event field, to setup camp for the night and join us for the party. There will be a BBQ, bar and some entertainment, as well as the presentation for the final series standings.

Camping

Camping is available from Friday night in the main camp field next to the Bike Centre. Pitches are priced at £5 per night and payable on arrival. To book your pitch please email us.

Guided Hangover Rides with the Dales Mountain Biking

Whether you're planning to attend the Nutcracker Party on the Saturday evening or not, the Hangover Rides will provide you with an ideal opportunity to ride and socialise with fellow racers and like minded people that you'd usually be going head-to-head with during the races. If you have been at the Nutcracker Party the night before, then it's also a good way of shaking off the hangover!

The rides are informal and non-competitive and will be conducted at a leisurely pace. The format and schedule is quite simple: We're riding at 1030 from Dales Bike Centre. There will be 2 groups aimed at differing abilities. We won't leave anybody behind. Entry is completely free of charge – all we ask is the pleasure of your company! Weather depending, we'll be out for a minimum of 2 hours but if it's a good summer day we'll stay out a bit longer.
